Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using SafeDeFi ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Platform. These Terms apply to all users and visitors of the Platform.

About SafeDeFi

SafeDeFi is a decentralized finance (DeFi) platform that provides tools for cryptocurrency staking, lending, and borrowing. We operate as a software interface that connects users to blockchain networks and smart contracts. We do not custody user funds or provide financial advisory services.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and have full legal capacity to enter into contracts. By using our Platform, you represent and warrant that:

  • You are at least 18 years of age
  • You have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements
  • You comply with all applicable laws and regulations
  • You are not located in a jurisdiction where our services are restricted
  • You are not on any sanctions lists or prohibited from using cryptocurrency services

What We Don't Provide

  • Investment advice or recommendations
  • Financial advisory services
  • Custody of user assets
  • Guarantees of returns or profits
  • Insurance against losses

User Responsibilities

As a user of our Platform, you are responsible for:

  • Securing your wallet and private keys
  • Conducting your own research before investing
  • Understanding the risks of cryptocurrency and DeFi
  • Complying with tax obligations in your jurisdiction
  • Notifying us of any security vulnerabilities you discover
  • Using the Platform for lawful purposes only

Risks and Disclaimers

Financial Risks

Cryptocurrency and DeFi involve significant risks including but not limited to:

  • Market volatility and price fluctuations
  • Potential loss of entire investment
  • Smart contract vulnerabilities and bugs
  • Network congestion and high fees
  • Regulatory changes affecting crypto assets

Technical Risks

  • Smart contract exploits or hacks
  • Blockchain network failures
  • Oracle manipulation or failures
  • Platform downtime or technical issues

Intellectual Property

The Platform, including its design, content, and software, is owned by SafeDeFi and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

Prohibited Activities

You may not use our Platform to:

  • Engage in illegal activities or money laundering
  • Violate applicable laws or regulations
  • Attempt to hack or compromise our systems
  • Use the Platform for fraudulent purposes
  • Interfere with other users' experience
  • Reverse engineer or decompile our software

Privacy and Data

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SafeDeFi shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for our services, if any.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold SafeDeFi harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Platform, violation of these Terms, or violation of any rights of third parties.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at our sole discretion, with or without cause or notice. You may stop using the Platform at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform immediately ceases.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through arbitration in accordance with applicable arbitration rules.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
